Product Overview

This 100 A controller uses MPPT tracking to charge automatically detected 12 V, 24 V, 36 V or 48 V battery systems. Its allowable PV voltage and maximum PV wattage change with the selected battery-system voltage, as shown above.

Suitable Applications

Suitable for correctly designed off-grid solar battery systems, including home, cabin and RV installations, when the PV array and battery bank remain within the controller's ratings.

Compatibility and Safety Check

Connect the battery before connecting the PV array. The PV array's cold-weather open-circuit voltage must remain below 150 V DC, and the operating voltage must remain inside the range listed for the connected battery system. Use suitable DC disconnects, over-current protection, conductor sizing and grounding in accordance with the manual and local electrical code.
